Miss Moneypenny is M's secretary and is responsible for providing James Bond with important information after 007 gets briefed by M on his missions. Miss Moneypenny has a small role in most of James Bond films, however the relationship between Miss Moneypenny and James Bond 007 is highlighted by the underscored romantic tension between them. In the movie Skyfall, the character of Moneypenny spent some time as a field agent before becoming M's secretary.
